
Since 1992, Ed has been practicing massage in a variety of venues including chiropractic offices, acupuncture clinics, and spas. He was the company massage therapist for San Francisco’s Lines Contemporary Ballet for the 1995 to 1997 seasons.
He has experience with a wide range of people including athletes, dancers and stressed professionals.
Ed incorporates a variety of techniques to create a massage that is therapeutic and healing for mind, body and spirit. Techniques include Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Energy Work, and Hot Stone Therapy.

Swedish Massage
Incorporates long flowing strokes (effleurage) and more detailed strokes (petrissage). Promotes relaxation, increases blood flow to muscles, moves fluids and toxins from muscles, relaxing & soothing.
Deep Tissue
More intense deep focused work to relax and release deep muscles.
Sports Massage
Techniques to help muscles recover from exertion & exercises.
Trigger Point Therapy
begins relaxation of large muscle groups by applying pressure to various central "trigger" points. |
